About the Role
We're looking for a proactive, driven and detail-oriented Trainee Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is part-qualified or recently qualified (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) and ready to take the next step in their finance career.
You'll gain a broad exposure to the day-to-day financial operations in a fast-paced environment and you'll work closely with our Financial Director and Chief Financial Officer. We're looking for someone with a real desire to learn, grow and develop professionally.
What you’ll be doing
- Support with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including processing invoices, expenses and bank reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Help to manage and track subscription-based revenue and recurring invoices
- Assist with payroll, pension and employee expense processing
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely financial reporting and data accuracy
- Contribute to monthly close activities and support finance processes
- Learn how Finance integrates with other departments (Sales, Customer Success etc.)

Skills We Need for This Role
- Part qualified or fully qualified through AAT, ACCA, CIMA or similar
- Strong understanding of core accounting principles and bookkeeping knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and willingness to learn new tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to grow in your Finance career
